Leatrice L. Meier, age 91, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.

Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Ritchay Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Father Patric will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Leatrice was born August 13, 1927 in the Town of Beaver, Clark County, WI to Walter and Emma (Brockhaus) Seefluth. She married Walter G. Meier on July 14, 1951 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2012.

Leatrice was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and genealogy.

Leatrice is survived by five children, Eugene Meier of King, WI, Kathleen (Tom) McEvers of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Karen (Jerry) Greenwold of Barron, WI, Susan Meier of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Linda (Varis) Kukainis of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; seven grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Sisco, Ashley McEvers, Maija (John) Baer, Mara Kukainis, Kira Kukainis, Spencer Greenwold and Evan Greenwold; and four great grandchildren.

Leatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; and brothers, Marvin, Ralph, Allen and Royal.

Leatrice’s family would like to thank the staffs at Aspirus Riverview Emergency Room, the Aspirus Comfort Care and Waterford Assisted Living for their kind, compassionate care given to Leatrice.
