Kremer receives Distinguished Service Award

MARSHFIELD – Ron Kremer has received the Distinguished Service Award from the Wisconsin Cheesemakers Association (WCMA).
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes “persons that have helped to grow the United States dairy industry and are valued by cheesemakers as trusted partners.”
Kremer grew up on a central Wisconsin farm, working for a cheese factory during his high school years. After military service, Kremer began a long career in the dairy industry, first with Sanna Dairies, then Beatreme Foods. From 1988 to his retirement in 2017, Kremer worked for Kerry, ending his career as a national sales manager for the company.
Jerry Lippert, president of Nelson Jameson and WCMA board member, presented Kremer with the award April 18 at the Alliance Center in Madison.
