April 25, 2019

Vehicle break-ins

On April 25 at 6:41 a.m. and 7:10 a.m., two automobiles were broken into and items were stolen. The first incident occurred at a Wisconsin Rapids retail chain and a purse was stolen. In the second incident, a wallet and a backpack were stolen.

April 27, 2019

Suspicious activity

On April 27 at 11:06 a.m. a welfare check was requested on a female who was walking with a little boy. The complainant stated that the woman was dragging and yelling at the child, and that she was wearing a gray sweatshirt and the child was in a hoodie. The incident occurred in a park in Wisconsin Rapids.

Joyride

On April 27 at 3:11 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids man reported that his son was driving the mother to a Wisconsin Rapids fast-food chain, but that the son had no license or temps.

April 28, 2019

Meddling kids

On April 28 at 2:10 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that he believed that kids were throwing rocks at his car and using sidewalk chalk to draw on it as well.

More rock throwing

On April 28 at 6:49 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that there was a male in his 40s who was outside of a nursing home throwing rocks at the home. The complainant stated that there were people outside attempting to apprehend the man.

Runaway

On April 28 at 2:59 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that her 16-year-old son had run away within the last half hour. The woman stated that he had been wearing a black t-shirt and gray sweats and has run away in the past. She further reported that she suspected him to be at his girlfriend’s house.
