WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Three members of the South Wood County (SWC) Turners Gymnastics team will participate in national competition held in Wisconsin Dells, June 20-23.

YMCA gymnasts from around the nation will compete in the uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, and vault.  Through the YMCA, gymnasts compete in all four events.

In order to qualify for state, gymnasts must achieve a qualifying all-around score, with a different score set for each level. Once qualified for state, gymnasts may register for nationals, which moves around the country; this year, it is held in Wisconsin Dells.

Competing for the SWC Turners are: Hayden Kleifgen, 8, Level 2; Macey Back, 12, Level 4; and Yanissa Quilantan, 13, Level 4.
