One injured in motorcycle-deer accident

RUDOLPH – A 59-year-old Stevens Point man was airlifted to Marshfield Medical Center following a motorcycle-deer accident in the town of Rudolph.
The morning of June 20, the Wood County Dispatch Center received a report of an accident on State Hwy 34. The driver of the motorcycle was southbound when a deer ran out in front of him.
The driver, Daniel Porcaro, was airlifted to Marshfield Medical Center by Life Link Ill; he was not wearing a helmet.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Wood County Rescue, Rudolph Fire Department, Rudolph First Responders, United Ambulance, and Life Link III.
