Rangers grab seventh inning lead for victory against Plover

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Post 9 Rangers 18U ran off with the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Plover Black Sox on June 24 in Plover.
Caleb Krommenakker got the win for the Rangers He surrendered zero runs on two hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.
Dylan Davis took the loss for Plover. He went two innings, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out four and walking one.
Logan Schulfer started the game for the Black Sox. He surrendered two runs on three hits over five innings, striking out eight,

Ethan Peters started the game for Post 9. He allowed seven hits and five runs over five and a third innings, striking out four and walking one
Post 9 tallied two home runs on the day –Josh Zwicke went for the long ball in the seventh inning and Garrett Huber put one out in the sixth inning.
Nathan Krommenakker, Jack Wenzel, Cody Bredl, Donovan Brandl, Zwicke, and Huber each collected one hit to lead Post 9.
Schulfer led Plover with two hits in three at bats.
