Randy Holden, age 57, of Nekoosa, died Saturday July 6, 2019 at UW Hospital in Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday July 11, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Edwards. Rev. Daniel Bohn will officiate. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in the town of Saratoga with military rites by Nekoosa VFW Post #2534. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Randy was born October 27, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids to Harold and Rolene (Gulmire) Holden. He served in the National Guards from 1981 to 1987. Randy married Teresa Hamilton on October 6, 1984 in Port Edwards.
Randy was marsh manager for Karris Family Farms in Nekoosa. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest joy.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Holden; two children Amanda (Andrew) Reimer of Nekoosa and Cody (Lindsey) Holden of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandchildren Isabel, Quinn and Cameron; his mother Rolene (Dale) Olson of Nekoosa and nine siblings Cathy (Gary) Rickaby, Charlene (Ernie) Krause, Harold (Staci) Holden, Ronald (Joanne) Holden, Laura (Jeff) Patterson, Cindy (Steve) Keuntjes, Gloria (Roger) Krueger, Rod (Valerie) Holden and Tammie (Brad) Wilke.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Holden, sister Karen Kieper and mother in law Kathy Hamilton.
