Bike Share

For the Rapids City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Wisconsin Rapids area residents can take advantage of the River Riders Bike Share this summer. The program boasts 30 cruiser style bikes, one tricycle bike, and two tandem side-by-side bikes available at six stations throughout Wisconsin Rapids.

Zagster has a minimal cost to residents and visitors; riders can select from an annual or student annual membership, or a pay-as-you-go option. New this year, the first two hours of any trip of an annual membership are free and a unique-code membership, called ACCESS, is available to those who face income barriers by emailing [email protected].

Bikes are available at the following locations: Lake Wazeecha White Sands Beach, 5510 Wazeecha Ave.; Mid-State Technical College, 500 32nd St. North; McMillan Memorial Library, 490 E. Grand Ave.; Quality Foods West Grand, 1021 W. Grand Ave.; Veterans Memorial Park, 101-299 1st St North; and the Wisconsin Rapids Municipal Zoo, 2030 Gaynor Ave.

Riders can view stations and bikes in the free Zagster app, available on the App Store and Google Play, or online. Download the app to start riding or visit www.zagster.com/riverriders.

Promo codes and giveaways will be posted on the bike share Facebook page throughout July and August. Find River Riders Bike Share on Facebook for more information.
