Car v. Cow
On July 9 at 10 p.m. a Sigel male reported that he had hit a cow with his vehicle. The man stated that the cow was not dead, only injured, and was trying to crawl back into the roadway. The incident occurred on South 73rd and Schroedel Road in Sigel.
July 10, 2019
Child Endangerment
On July 10 at 1:22 p.m. it was reported by a female that she had seen a small child being dangled out the window of a vehicle going down the highway at high speeds. The vehicle was described as a red Dodge Dakota pickup truck going north on State Highway 73 in Sigel.
Face vs. window
On July 10 at 1:55 p.m. an Arpin female reported that her 16-year-old brother was so upset that he had smashed his head through a window. The female stated that afterwards, the juvenile had cuts on his face and had fled across the street.
Target shooting gone wrong
On July 10 at 3:16 p.m. a town of Rock male reported that while his neighbor was target shooting, the male had noticed something whizz past him and his daughters. The complainant suspected that the neighbor had either shot at them or was shooting at a target in their direction. The incident occurred at a residence on Patton Drive in Rock.
July 11, 2019
Hooked on power
On July 11 at 3:50 p.m. it was reported that a semi truck had gotten hooked on some power lines on South 13th Street in Saratoga. It was reported that the semi was stuck and that as a result of the accident, the power lines were down. The semi emerged victorious from the incident.
July 12, 2019
Obstruction of traffic
On July 12 at 3:43 p.m. it was reported that there was a very large snapping turtle sitting in the middle of the road on County Highway B in Rock that was refusing to get out of the roadway.
Break-in
On July 12 at 5:40 p.m. a Hansen female reported that her step son, his half brother, and two other females and males were breaking into her Hansen residence. The complainant stated that she had their vehicle blocked in so that they could not leave in it but that there were two females and two males already inside the residence. The incident involved three males and three females.
Physical assault
On July 12 at 9:07 p.m. a female reported that a friend had physically assaulted the complainant’s husband twice that day. The complainant stated that she did not know what exactly the perpetrator had been armed with but suspected it was small knives.
