July 16, 2019

Welfare check

On July 16 at 10:48 a.m. a welfare check was requested on a Wisconsin Rapids residence on South 19th Street. The complainant stated that two families lived there and that a 4-year-old child was put in charge of watching a 1-year-old child and a 2-year-old child. The complainant further alleged that drug dealing went on in the residence and that the two families used marijuana and cocaine.

 

July 17, 2019

Unconscious male

On July 17 at 9:17 a.m. an employee of the Wisconsin Rapids establishment reported that there was a male individual passed out in the front seat of a silver vehicle of a car parked across from the establishment. The complainant further stated that there was a baby in a car seat in the vehicle.

 

July 18, 2019

Felony attack 

On July 18 at 7:25 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that a male armed with a gun had attempted to attack her mother. The complainant alleged that it was a felony for the male to possess the gun and that he had previously made death threats to her mother and to police officers.

 

July 19, 2019

Cranberry roadblock

On July 19 at 3:14 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that there were cranberries all over Spring Street in Wisconsin Rapids. At 3:34 p.m. that day, a trucking company reported that one of their trucks had spilled some cranberries.

 

July 20, 2019

Vehicle break in

On July 20 at 9:15 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that her vehicle had been broken into and that her cell phone and all of her belongings inside of the vehicle had been stolen. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked on Airport Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

Sign vs. window

On July 20 at 11:39 a.m. an employee of a pizza chain in Wisconsin Rapids reported that a street sign had gone through the front window of the fast food chain. Because of the damage the sign caused, the employee was unable to secure the building and requested extra patrol around the area.
