July 25, 2019

Don’t come knocking 

On July 25 at 8:04 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported that a male subject had been knocking at their door. The complainant stated that after knocking, the male, who had white hair and was wearing a white shirt and tan shorts, had taken a ladder and climbed up to a balcony. The incident took place at an apartment complex in Wisconsin Rapids.

July 26, 2019

Arson on the mind

On July 26 at 10:14 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that somebody had attempted to light his brush pile on fire that night. The complainant stated that though not much of the pile had been burned, he would keep an eye out and call officers back if further action by the suspect was taken.

Hit the road Jack

On July 26 at 7:57 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that she had discovered needles and crushed pills in the basement of her residence where a 33-year-old male had previously been living. The complainant stated that the subject had left everything behind in the basement when he had been kicked out.

Burglary

On July 26 at 8:37 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that his house, a residence on 21st Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids, had been broken into earlier that day. The complainant stated that the door had been left open and that it was clear that items had been gone through. The complainant stated that no one was still there and that he did not yet know if anything was missing.

July 29, 2019

Welfare check

On July 29 at 11:54 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids resident requested a welfare check on two children who were under three years of age. The complainant stated that they had heard through a third party that there were drugs in the house which had made them concerned for the well-being of the two children.

Air conditioner stolen

On July 29 at 4:58 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that the air conditioning system had been stolen from out of his truck. The complainant could not name any suspects, but thought that the theft had occurred within the last couple of hours. The incident occurred while the truck was parked on Gardner Street in Wisconsin Rapids.

Bad neighbors

On July 29 at 9:26 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported that his neighbors were chronic drug users. The complainant alleged that the area always smelled like pot and that at one point, they were offered cocaine by the neighbors. The complainant stated that they were prepared to take matters into their own hands if police did not take adequate action.

Death threats

On July 29 at 11:09 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that a male who had been staying with her was now threatening to kill her and her entire family. The complainant stated that the suspect, a 36-year-old male, had no weapons and was now across the street. The man was described as wearing a white tank top and black pants and had a little girl with him.
