Grand Rapids woman hit by suspected drunk driver

GRAND RAPIDS – The Grand Rapids Police Department says a Grand Rapids woman is dead, after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
Police say that Melissa Piesik, 43, was riding her bike on Aug. 4 around 8 p.m., when she was hit by a pickup truck on the 7300 block of Whitrock Avenue.
A 25-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drunk driving.
