Rapids welcome sign

 For the Rapids City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The city of Wisconsin Rapids will host an open house for residents, business owners, and any other interested persons, to learn more about the new updated sign ordinance.

The Planning Commission will use the input received at the open house to prepare a final draft. A public hearing will likely be held in September or October, to accept formal input on the final draft.

The proposed code is posted on the Community Development Department website at https://www.wirapids.org/planning-and-zoning.html.

The open house will be held Aug. 19, 4-6 p.m., in the Wisconsin Rapids City Hall Council Chambers, 444 W. Grand Ave., Wisconsin Rapids.

For more information, contact Adam Tegen, director of community development, at 715- 421-8225.
