WISCONSIN RAPIDS – United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties has kicked off its 2019 campaign and this year’s campaign chair is Nicole Pemble.

“I have had the opportunity to serve on the United Way board for 9 years. Between that and my job as a Corporate Sales Representative at Solarus I have a unique perspective of our community. Through my experiences learning about United Way’s 30 partner programs I am acutely aware of the needs in our community.” said Nicole.

“As a community we invest in our children to help them become the leaders of the future and we also take care of our elderly as they have taken care of us. All the dollars raised by United Way stay local to help community member’s right here where we live. One in three people are impacted by United Way dollars. Please continue with your giving spirit and if you haven’t been a giver in the past please consider it. United, we can make our community an even better place.”

The campaign will run until Oct. 31.
