Clean sweep is Sept. 7 in Saratoga

WOOD COUNTY – Limited amounts of hazardous waste from households and farms can be brought in free of charge for safe, convenient, and legal disposal, on Sept. 7 at the Saratoga Town Hall.
Materials should be properly identified in their original containers with original labels. Do not mix substances together.
Accepted items will include: unused chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, oil-based paints, cleaners, varnishes, wood sealers, auto and workshop chemicals and other hazardous products. Mercury thermometers and thermostats will also be accepted. Quantities are generally limited to five gallons or 50 pounds.
