WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The city of Wisconsin Rapids is seeking candidates interested in being appointed to the position of District 2 alderperson.

On Aug. 18, former District 2 alderperson, Lee Graf, resigned citing non-residency in the district. Graff has served since April 2018.

The individual appointed to fill the remaining part of his term will serve until the April 2020 election.

Candidates must be eligible voters and reside in District 2.

Interested residents should send a letter of interest and a resume to: Jennifer Gossick, city clerk,
444 West Grand Ave., Wisconsin Rapids, WI, 54495, or jgossick@wirapids.org, by Sept. 13 at noon.
All candidates should attend the Sept. 17 city council meeting, where they will be considered.
