September 4, 2019

Road rage 

On September 4 at 4:02 p.m. a male reported that there was a vehicle that had driven through the fence of the Grand Rapids airport. The complainant alleged that the vehicle continued north and passed the golf course, running stop signs in its path.

 

September 5, 2019

Male disturbance 

On September 5 at 4:42 p.m. a bartender of a Wisconsin Rapids bar reported that there was a group of males who caused a disturbance and had possibly engaged in drug-related activity the previous night. The bartender requested police presence that night when the bartenders got off work.

 

Fuel fiend 

On September 5 at 11:03 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported that the equipment of contractors they had hired to do work had been emptied of fuel. In addition to the loss of fuel, one of the fuel caps was gone. The complainant requested extra patrol. The incident occurred on 17th Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

September 7, 2019

Heroin hideout 

On September 7 at 7:35 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that while dropping off a friend’s child at their residence, she had observed five people passed out. The complainant alleged that one of the females, who she was unable to wake, had a heroin needle hanging out of her bra.

 

Homicide suspect at large 

On September 7 at 11:06 a.m. a notice was sent out to the Wisconsin Rapids police department that a New Brighton man who was suspected of a homicide was possibly headed to Galesville. The notice stated that the homicide had occurred at 7:42 a.m. that morning and that the man had additionally threatened to kill his children and then commit suicide.

 

September 9, 2019

Getting egged

On September 9 at 9:56 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported that there were neighborhood kids who had thrown eggs over the fence and into their yard. The complainant stated that while they had not witnessed the egg-throwing take place; luckily the eggs had not landed on anything except grass. The resident stated that the children in question lived at a residence on South Third Street in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

Threats 

On September 9 at 1:09 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that she had received threatening texts from a 26-year-old male and a 41-year-old male. The texts stated that the two men planned on coming to the woman’s residence to physically assault her son.
