Wisconsin Master Chorale to host open rehearsal

STEVENS POINT – The Wisconsin Master Chorale will host an open rehearsal on Sept. 22, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1919 Wyatt Ave., Stevens Point.
No auditions are required for this local chorale which has been providing the community two annual concerts since 2001. In past years chorale members have come from Stevens Point, Plover, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Wausau, and Waupaca.
Larry P. Hansen, returning a second year as the artistic director, says, “We are informal enough to welcome high school and college students, plus adults of all ages who want a fun and friendly group singing experience.”
The upcoming holiday concerts – Dec. 6, 7, and 8 – will include the Suzuki Children’s Choir directed by Mary Hofer.
