Local groups in need of volunteers, donations

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The following local groups are in need of volunteers or donations:

Career Closet

Volunteers are needed to work, 12:30- 3 p.m., on Wednesdays. Whenever possible the Career Closet schedules two volunteers for each shift. The Career Closet is open Monday- Friday at 10 a.m. Closing hours vary. New volunteers will work with experienced staff.

Warm clothing and shoes needed

The Career Closet need of gently used warm clothing for men and women and safety shoes for men and women. Please donate gently used professional and casual clothing for individuals who are interviewing for a job or have started a new job and cannot afford to buy them.  Items needed for men and women include:  professional and casual outfits, medical scrubs, work boots, casual/tennis/dress shoes, accessories, and jewelry.

The Neighborhood Table

The Neighborhood Table is in need of volunteers for our weekly community meals – meal coordinators, dishwashers, to-go helpers, and a closer.
