Volunteers needed at The Neighborhood Table

For the City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Volunteers are needed at the The Neighborhood Table.
To-go coordinators
The Neighborhood Table is looking for a few volunteers to help with their to-go orders for their Thursday meals.
Kitchen help
They are also in need of kitchen help, which includes clean up and dishwashing. Meals are served every Thursday evening, 4:30-6 p.m., and the last two Tuesdays of the month, 4:30-6 p.m.
Meal coordinators
Duties include planning the meal, verifying appropriate volunteer resources and assisting in the preparation of the meal as needed. This person is the primary contact person between the sponsor groups and The Neighborhood Table.
Time commitment is a couple of hours prior to the meal date working with the sponsor and 4-6 hours on the actual date of the meal. The meal coordinators are asked to help with a meal every 4-6 weeks. Knowledge of food preparation and food safety for large groups is helpful.
