Community Denim Day is Oct. 4

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – On Oct. 4, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties will host its annual Community Wide Denim Day. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to allow their employees to wear jeans in exchange for a donation to United Way.
“The event got its start when a local business approached us and asked if everyone could wear jeans on the same day,” said Tari Jahns, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties CEO. “They said they had strict dress codes but if everyone in the community was participating, they could do it. Now, our Denim Day is an annual event!”
