Wisconsin Rapids Police Blotter: Sept. 24-30, 2019

September 24, 2019

Possible narcotic theft 

On Sept. 24 at 3:25 p.m. an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids orthopedic business reported a possible theft of narcotics. The employee stated that they suspected that the cleaning crew was stealing the drugs.

 

September 25, 2019

Aggressive dog 

On Sept. 25 at 10:42 a.m. it was reported that there was an aggressive husky living at a residence on Monroe Street who was tethered to the front of the house and who was so aggressive that mail carriers were so scared that they refused to deliver mail to the entire block.

 

Possible brawl

On Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids superstore reported that there were large trucks and a large group of around 15 people who were swearing and yelling at each other. The complainant stated that the trucks were starting to drive away but that they would still like an officer to drive through the area.

 

September 29, 2019

Kids and rocks

On Sept. 29 at 1:12 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that two younger kids between the ages of five  and six had been throwing a rock that had broken a window of a red van. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked at a South 14th Street residence in Wisconsin Rapids.

Later, at 3:14 p.m., a female reported that the back window of her vehicle had been smashed while parked at a residence on South 14th Street in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

September 30, 2019

Murder obsession

On Sept. 30 at 7:48 a.m. it was reported that a male employee had been terminated from a Wisconsin Rapids care center. Later that day, they had found a letter on the printer from the male stating that he was obsessed with murder.

 

Help me sign 

On Sept. 30 at 9:02 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that she had seen a large sign in the window of an apartment in Wisconsin Rapids that had ‘HELP ME’ written on it.
