Celebrating East Grand Avenue
The city of Wisconsin Rapids and Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce celebrated the partial opening of East Grand Avenue with a ribbon cutting on Oct. 2. Third Street and Lincoln Street are now open to cross traffic. Work started with the West Grand Avenue reconstruction project in 2011 and reconstruction of the Eighth Street South and East Grand Avenue intersection in 2017. Rapids City Times staff photo.
