For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Lincoln High School students, Abby Wangen, Faith Cour, Dylan Gruszynski and Lauren Ontl, have been named by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin (GCAW) as Academic All-State honorees for the 2019 girls golf season.

Wangen and Cour each received honors, while Gruszynski and Ontl received high honors.

Students are nominated by GCAW member coaches if they meet the following criteria: A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25; participation in at least 75 percent of their team’s varsity matches; and they are at least a sophomore in high school.

The GCAW has honored 342 girls from 100 high schools this year for maintaining high academic standards in the classroom while competing in varsity golf.
