WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The city celebrated the completion of Henry Demitz Park improvements on Oct. 19, with a ribbon cutting in Demitz Park

The event also marked the completion of Phase I of the East Riverbank Project. The improvements include a new kayak/canoe launch, ADA-accessible accommodations, renewed fishing pier, recreational trail and underexpressway walk, parking lot, outdoor fitness equipment, outdoor grills, and a new shade structure.

The project was guided by Taewook Cha of Supermass Studios, MSA Professional Services, and the Wisconsin DNR.
