NEKOOSA – Dave Jacoby of Jacoby Custom Cues, Nekoosa, has been inducted into the 2019 Wisconsin Billiards Hall of Fame class.

Jacoby formed Dave’s Cue Service in 1982; and he and his son, Shane, began doing repairs in their basement. They later made their first cue.

Shane eventually left the business and Dave’s son, Brandon, joined him. In 1992, they built their own shop.

Dave was inducted in the Hall of Fame during a banquet held Oct. 11 in Beloit. Fellow 2019 class members include Jeff Carter and Randy Lamar, as well as the posthumous recognition of Frank Stellman.
