WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings hockey team and South Wood County Recreation Center teamed up for their Sixth Annual Pumpkin Painting at the South Wood County Recreation Center.
Organizers say this annual tradition “helps define the Riverkings building hockey up and down the river culture as giving back to the supportive Wisconsin Rapids community is one of the most important aspects to the Riverkings.”
Two-year Riverking, Jordan Stear, pulled from his youth hockey memories during the event, stating, “I remember looking up to the older players and now as I am one I can’t help but hope to make an impact on players to help push them to love the sport of hockey as much as I do.”
