MADISON – Local governments still have time to apply for the new one-time Multimodal Local Supplement (MLS) funding program. The $75 million program will pay up to 90 percent of total eligible costs for a range of transportation projects.

Grants are available for projects including: roads, bridges, transit capital and facility grants, bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, railroads, and harbors.

Local governments or groups of local governments are eligible, including tribal governments.

Application submittal is available until Dec. 6 at https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/doing-bus/local-gov/astnce-pgms/aid/mls.aspx.
