For the City Times
ADAMS COUNTY – Adams County is under a winter weather advisory, running Nov. 29-30.
A prolonged mix of wintry precipitation will move into Adams County Friday evening, continuing in waves through Sunday morning.
Heavy, wet accumulating snow is expected to be the main hazard for areas near and north of Interstate 94 across north central Wisconsin, with a messy wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and even just a cold rain anticipated for the remainder of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and western into southwest Wisconsin.
In addition, wind gusts from the east of 30-40 mph Saturday could result in blowing snow and poor visibility in some areas. Impacts to travel can be expected through the holiday weekend. Those with travel plans should closely monitor the latest conditions and forecasts.
