Audubon Society to host 120th Christmas bird count

For the City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Dec. 19 marks the 120th year that The National Audubon Society has conducted its annual Christmas Bird Count.
Organizers say that the count is vital to ornithologists for assessing the health of our bird populations.
Volunteers are needed for Wood County, with no experience necessary.
If you have a bird feeder, just keeping an eye on that would provide valuable information to the count.
