For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Area parents are taking home some very special stocking stuffers this holiday season, thanks to the Gamma Phi sorority sisters.

The group is ensuring that all babies born during the holiday season at Aspirus Riverview Family Birthplace go home in newborn-sized homemade stockings.

The Gamma Phi sisters are continuing a 30-year tradition of designing and creating the stockings. This year’s stockings are decorated with a stork.

The annual project is made possible by the Gamma Phi sisters’ annual rummage sale.
