Wisconsin Rapids Police Blotter: Dec. 3-8, 2019

December 3, 2019

Cut-up vehicle

On Dec. 3 at 8:01 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that a month earlier he had sold a vehicle to another individual. The complainant stated that the buyer later cut up the vehicle and left pieces in the yard of the complainant’s Wickham Avenue residence.

 

Prowler

On Dec. 3 at 11:27 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported a male subject walking around in the middle of the road on Goodnow Avenue. The complainant stated that the male began pounding on the front door of her residence and was wearing a dark jacket.

 

December 5, 2019

Using nature as a weapon 

On Dec. 5 at 7:35 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that his neighbor had thrown a chunk of ice at the front door of his Lincoln Street residence. The complainant stated that the same neighbor had also been leaving notes in his mailbox. When the incident happened the subject was wearing a green coat and took off running.

 

December 8, 2019

Fraud 

On Dec. 8 at 2:37 p.m. an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids supermarket reported that a female had stolen an item earlier that morning, then attempted to return it.

 

Attempted break-in

On Dec. 8 at 4:27 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that there was a subject on North Eighth Street attempting to kick in the door of a residence.
