WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The following volunteer opportunities are available in south Wood and Adams counties:

Rapids Family Backpacks is looking for two volunteers to support the program at Mead school.  The volunteers would be responsible for packing weekend meals into backpacks and placing them into student lockers Friday mornings, on weeks when there are days off school; volunteers would be needed on the last day of that week that students are in school. Interested individuals will need to follow any required school district policies, backgrounds checks, confidentiality agreement, and maintain confidentiality.

Neighborhood Table

The Neighborhood Table is in need of kitchen help, which includes clean up and dishwashing. Meals are served every Thursday evening, 4:30-6 p.m., and the last two Tuesdays of the month, 4:30-6 p.m.
