WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Parks & Recreation Department is planning to open the Mead Warming House on Jan. 7. Mead Field is located on the corner of Chase Street and 14th Avenue South and offers ice skating during the winter season.

Robinson Park Low-Board skating area may also be used for ice skating, but conditions are marginal. There is no warming house at Robinson Park, located at 1941 Apricot St., Wisconsin Rapids.

For more information, please call the Parks & Recreation office at 715-421-8240.
