WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Assumption girls basketball defeated Port Edwards, after holding them to only four points in the first half.

Leading scorers for Assumption were Madalyn Bohn, with 15, and Jessie Grundhoffer, with 11.

Port Edwards’ Taylor Martin scored 12 of their 15 points.

Port Edwards will travel to Plainfield on Jan. 7, to face Tri-County. Assumption will host a conference game against Stratford on Jan. 7.
