For the City Times

ADAMS COUNTY – A winter storm watch is in effect for the area until Jan. 12 at 6 a.m.

Patchy freezing drizzle will continue across Clark and Taylor counties in northcentral Wisconsin this afternoon. A light glaze is possible. Untreated roads and sidewalks will remain slick with a light glazing of ice.

Confidence is increasing on a winter storm impacting the area Saturday into Saturday night, with significant snowfall; some areas from far southwestern into central Wisconsin could see six or more inches of accumulation.
