MINNEAPOLIS – Wisconsin Rapids native, Jennifer Johnson, has been made a partner of the Stoel Rives law firm in Minneapolis. Johnson was named partner, along with Thomas Braun and Adam Schurle, on Jan. 1.

“I am pleased to welcome Thomas, Jennifer and Adam to partnership at Stoel Rives,” said Firm Managing Partner Melissa A. Jones. “These lawyers are emerging leaders in key practice areas including environmental, corporate, and tax law. We look forward to working together throughout the new decade to continue to advance the legal profession and offer unparalleled legal counsel to our clients.”

Johnson

Johnson is an attorney in the corporate practice group who has extensive experience representing clients on significant business transactions for companies in a wide range of industries including renewable energy, distribution, health care, telecommunications, forestry and other service industries. She has experience in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial transactions and contracts, and antitrust regulatory compliance.

“My broad experience in corporate transactions and prior experience working in-house allows me to understand our clients’ business strategies and the needs of in-house legal departments,” said Johnson. “I look forward to continuing my transactional practice and delivering businesses effective legal solutions that help achieve their strategic objectives.”

Having previously worked as Corporate Counsel at Cosentino North America, a leader in natural stone distribution and manufacturing, Johnson developed an appreciation for the business needs and goals of company management and team leaders, helping them to achieve the company’s long-term, strategic business goals, including developing and implementing company policies, procedures and programs that boost the bottom line.
