WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Nekoosa/Assumption/Port Edwards (NAPE) wrestlers found success at the Markesan Invitational on Jan. 18.

The team finished in third place behind Tomahawk and Markesan.

106: Tarren Hoffman (1-3) placed fifth; 113: Nathan Gellerup (21-7) placed second; 120: Blaze Thurber (23-5) placed first; 126: Gavin Hall (15-7) placed fourth; 132: Hunter Ebbe (1-12) placed fifth; 138: Juan Torres (4-16) placed fifth; 145: Klayton Havlovic (14-10) placed third; 152: Sawyer Kniprath (5-3) placed third; 170: Micheal Wilson (8-15) placed third; 182: Ben Elsen (13-3) placed first; 195: Hunter Boudreau (15-9) placed third; 220: Hudson Goodwin (2-16) placed sixth.

NAPE will wrestle again on Jan. 23 at Mauston. The meet is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
