One injured in Wisconsin Rapids fire

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Multiple crews responded to an early morning fire in Wisconsin Rapids, where one man was injured.
Officials say the fire occurred just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 21, at the residence of 851 Gardner Street in Wisconsin Rapids.
Crews responded and found flames and heavy smoke coming from the home.
A man reportedly suffered significant burns and was transported to the hospital.
Wisconsin Rapids Fire, Grand Rapids Fire, Port Edwards Fire, Biron Fire, Vesper Fire, Nekoosa Fire, and Saratoga EMS all assisted in putting out the fire.
