Rapids boys get a win in Rhinelander

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids boys basketball team traveled to Rhinelander on Feb. 4 for a nonconference game and took the win.

Rapids had a 37-35 lead at the half. The second half was a tough battle as the Red Raiders outscored Rhinelander, 32-30, to get the 69-64 road win.

Grant Flory led Wisconsin Rapids in scoring with 32 points. Matt Schooley added 10 of his own.

Wisconsin Rapids is now 7-10 overall and 3-5 in conference play. They will face Appleton North on Feb. 11 in Appleton. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
