Rapids girls fall short against Appleton West

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Lincoln girls basketball team hosted Appleton West on Feb. 3 in a nonconference matchup where they came up short, falling to West, 60-55.

Leading the Rapids team was Megan Clary with 26 points, nearly half the points for her team. Alli Martin added nine points of her own in the effort.

Wisconsin Rapids moved to 7-12 overall and 3-6 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Up next for the Lincoln girls is Merrill at home on Feb. 11. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m.
