WOOD COUNTY – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department and Department of Corrections said that convicted sex offender, Paul A. Peterson, 47, has relocated to the town of Richfield, in Wood County.

Peterson

On Sept. 10, Peterson was released from custody. He had been residing at 1150 16th St., Wisconsin Rapids.

Peterson will now be residing at 7524 Bluff Drive in the town of Richfield.

He was convicted of repeated sexual assault of the same child and incest with a child in 2012, with both incidents occurring in Wood County.

Peterson has been designated as a Level 3 Sex Offender. This is the highest classification of notification level as a potential threat or danger to the community at large. The criminal history involving the convictions indicates he had engaged in multiple sexual acts over a period of over six months with known victims.

He has a lifetime GPS monitor, which is in place.
