Youth Council hosts Community Snowman Competition

For the City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wisconsin Rapids residents are invited to enter the Community Snowman Competition, presented by the Mayor’s Youth Council. This contest will challenge entrees to make a snowman that is dressed as if it is headed to catch some sun at the Aquatic Center.
“This fun and engaging activity celebrates winter and inspires us to look toward summer and the opening of the aquatic recreation facility,” said Mayor Zach Vruwink. “The Youth Council is proud to host this fun competition!”
To enter, fill out a form at https://forms.gle/SiPuz3CcqtbjSGQbA.
Bonus points can be earned for entries that are shared on Facebook by tagging “Wisconsin Rapids Aquatics Center” with a creative picture.
Submissions will be judged by Wisconsin Rapids Fire Chief Scott Young and Police Chief Erman Blevins, and Mayor Vruwink. The top five submissions will receive a prize.
Deadline for contest entries is Feb. 29.
