Second half turnovers take a toll on Nekoosa

NEKOOSA – The Nekoosa boys basketball team played Adams-Friendship in a home conference game on Feb. 27 and started out with a tight first half, with Nekoosa down 26-24 at the break. Second half turnovers took a toll on Nekoosa and Adams-Friendship took the win, 53-34.
Nekoosa’s lead scorers for the night were Jace Lobner, with 12 points, and Damek Walker with 11.
Nekoosa finished the regular season 0-10 in conference and 4-18 overall.
Nekoosa will meet Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, for the first round of regionals, on March 3.
