PORTAGE COUNTY – Aspirus is opening a new primary care clinic in Marshfield later this year. The clinic will be located at an existing storefront in Founder’s Square and is slated to open to the public on Sept. 14.

The 2,500-square-foot facility will feature four exam rooms and offer on-site laboratory and x-ray services.

“We have a growing number of patients who travel from the Marshfield area to seek care at various Aspirus locations,” said Matt Brewer, vice president of operations and chief nursing officer of Aspirus Medical Group. “By establishing a clinic in Marshfield, we can offer additional access to primary care services in another community within our expanding service area and eliminate the need to travel for those who are seeking our care.”

Two advanced practice clinicians will initially staff the clinic, offering primary care services for guests of all ages.
