Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce

For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce is postponing all in-person networking, meeting and programming events, and closing their lobby to the public for the remainder of March and April.

In accordance with the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines restricting group size of non-essential gatherings, the chamber will be cancelling: Coffee with the Chamber, March 25 and April 29.

The Chamber will also be postponing: Business After Hours at the new Boys and Girls Club & YMCA, April 13; Working Women’s Luncheon at Sand Valley, April 21; and the Nekoosa Area Easter Event on March 28 to late spring/early summer.

At this time, refunds will not be issued to sponsors, Bunny Run 5K participants or vendors until an alternate date is selected.

The chamber office will remain staffed, but the lobby will be closed until April 6. Staff will be available to answer questions and direct the community to the needed resources via email and telephone. In-person meetings will be either rescheduled or hosted on a streaming video service.

In an effort to aid the business community, the Heart of Wisconsin has developed a Business Toolkit at http://www.wisconsinrapidschamber.com/COVID-19.
