For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is seeking original artwork from people, ages 1-110, for an Online Art Exhibit, now through March 31.

“It’s been a whirlwind as we receive COVID-19 information daily,” noted Cultural Center Executive Director Mary Olson.”We take this very seriously and we take creativity very seriously as a positive path to mental, physical and emotional well-being.

“In this spirit, the Cultural Center wants to offer residents an outlet to express themselves while spending more time at home. If you have children or grandchildren, let them express themselves, too, and share their creativity.”
The Cultural Center is accepting digital entries of 2D and 3D art forms, such as paintings, photographs, crayon and pencil art, fiber, clay, metal, mixed media, etc., and musical and dramatic performance videos of one minute or less.

Send a digital photo/video of up to two entries to the Cultural Center at createart.wi@gmail.com by March 31. Include your name, title of work, grade is you are a student, and art medium,

Then, check Central Wisconsin Cultural Center’s Facebook page on April 2, at 4 p.m., for the opening.
