Letter to the Editor: Enabling young people

Dear editor,

Hello, my name is Joshua Schuh. I am in support of Zach Vruwink’s re-election because of what he stands for.

For however many years I’ve known him, he has stood up for many of the same issues that I would as well, including enabling all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens, destigmatizing the members of the River Cities Clubhouse, who live with mental illness varying from anxiety, depression, and bipolar PTSD, autism, and AODA issues. His support of the members of the R.C.C. brings a smile to our faces because he genuinely cares about our success and well-being.

I truly believe he will make our city great the longer he is in office as our mayor. Though the previous mayors of Wisconsin Rapids did an amazing job when they were in office, I think Zach Vruwink, with his fresh perspective and big dreams, along with a great team of individuals, will make our city a year round destination.
