WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids polling location at Crossview Church has been moved to the former Shopko building, just to the east of Crossview Church, for the April 7 election.

The address of the new polling location is 1100 East Riverview Expressway, Wisconsin Rapids.

The polling location on the city’s west side, Centralia Center, 220 Third Avenue South, remains the same.

The Shopko polling location is for voters in Wards 11-21, and 24-29.

The Centralia Center polling location is for voters in Wards 1-10, 22, and 23.

Polling places are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 7.

“The city is taking special precautions to keep Election Day safe, including minimizing common touch points; using masks, gloves and hand sanitizer; and having separation barriers between voters and election workers. Both polling locations will be sanitized throughout the day,” city officials said in a release.
