April 8, 2020

Possible Stalker 

On April 8 at 12:47 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that for a half hour, a vehicle with an unknown male driver and an unknown male passenger had been driving past her High Street residence and staring through the window.

 

Theft

On April 8 at 2:01 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that two male teenagers had stolen bikes out of his neighbor’s garage instead of practicing safe social distancing and staying at home and out of other people’s garages. The complainant reported hearing shouting that woke him up and led him to spotting the intruders. The incident occurred on Apricot Street.

 

April 6, 2020

Rock thrower

On April 6 at 7:20 p.m. it was anonymously reported that there was a group of five or six teenagers who were walking northbound near South 19th Avenue. The complainant stated that the group was walking through people’s yards and throwing rocks and yelling at people driving by.

 

April 5, 2020

Exploding grill 

On April 5 at 1:56 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that a grill had exploded on North Fifth Street. The male stated that there were no injuries and no fire but that there may be damage to his neighbor’s car.

 

Man on the prowl 

On April 5 at 10:44 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported observing a male subject dressed in black standing behind an apartment complex on South 21st Avenue. The complainant stated that the male stood there for a few minutes before walking away.
